THE TOWNIES

Some of the colorful characters that populate the world.

A handful of antagonists (or at least the guys that get in the way) who heckle the hecking hell out of the noble heroes.

A snippet of the wild and wacky creatures players befriend, aggress, and are aggressed by.

The Valdivians are THE big, ruthless capitalist family running the show on two continents. They were an all-human family until about twenty-five years ago when founder Amaz decided that to appear more "progressive" they needed to breed with powerful magical creatures and bring magic into the bloodline. Aside from the performative stuff, the newest generation of Valdivians are under intense, unrealistic pressure to dominate in their respective fields before Amaz's health fails. This has lead to a bitter, brutal, and stressful succession war amidst the family.

TIBESKWIL BRIDGE

A massive bridge that connects two continents that has been running for over seventy years. Founded by the Willoughbys and funded by the Tibblewicks, it currently is suffering an arduously balanced peace. Adaline Esker was the force that ensured both the money-focused Tibblewicks and ethically-inclined, workhorse Willoughbys were kept happy and heard. Her death has left a hole no one in the family can fill, but Emmeryn and her unconventionally-reanimated cousin Esker seek to find a way to bring true stability to the Bridge.

Unicorn Map

Maps I've created for various games. Since we use full-body tokens, I like to design our maps so player tokens look like they're standing in the scene and benches line up with where the butts are. Some rooms are barren so I can populate them with props and other scenery tokens, which makes the sets feel more full, fluid, and dynamic. People love theater of the mind, but maps make improv SO much easier when you're a visual person like myself.
